Ming and I watched two episodes of Empress Ki today! It's a really awesome drama, 30 episodes on and we're still so hooked. There were only a couple of episodes in between that was a little boring, but the rest were good! Love Lady Ki (at the moment) and Ha Ji Won! She has the looks, the brains, the courage, the kindness and she's super good in fighting. Idol haha.
10 minutes to blog tonight! Let's see what I can cover. So after having our breakfast on top of Mount Batur, it was time for our descent.
Our guide encouraged us to take a picture at the mouth of this cave although we were hesistant. That was the spot where another guide got hit by a rock falling from above! His head was bleeding a lot, but luckily he was wearing a cap or a bandana when it happened so it wasn't as bad.
Finally saw what our surroundings looked like! I think Mount Batur is actually a volcano, and this is a crater? Whoops can't remember. We were thankful for the warmer weather!
But it wasn't easy going downhill as well! We were practically sliding down all the way 'cause it was so sandy, it was quite scary! Almost fell plenty of times.
Happy to have finally reached flatter grounds!
With our guide and group mates! That's mount batur behind us, it doesn't look that high up but it is! And I couldn't believe we were actually at the peak. Quite proud of ourselves haha.
This is one of the most adventurous outdoor activities I have done in my life! Hardly even close to the true adventure seekers (or ceekers), but it was a good experience for me! To more adventures!
