Guess what..


After my long complaining essay about not being able to start work, I started working today! I had just gone for a nap when I received a call asking me to go work asap! Without my uniform, without anything. So anyway I did goand wore eileen's uniform! Since she isn't working there anymore. It was SO scary at first not knowing anything at all. But xinyi was there! So she made it very much less scary. But she had to leave after a while! Things were okay though 'cause the people there are very nice! Teaching me all the stuff I need to know. All in all I had fun working! Yays (: May my ice cream scoops be more consistent tomorrow!

On monday I was so happy. Or at least for most part of the day. I went back to nyps with kaiyin and helped teach this bunch of really cute kids, mostly p1s and p2s. It felt so good to be back in the same hall where I trained for four years in primary school. Only now there are so many more apparatuses and the stage is gone. Sometime in the day I got the call I've been waiting for. My application to work at haagen dasz was finally approved. And I could start working this saturday! Then I watched tv from 7-11 enjoying every show I watched. Happy that jay won project runway. What happened after that was a mixture of tears, confusion and a little hope. The few days after monday.. Hope was lost again. But that's all right. Quite used to it. A little perk was the baking of my two quite successful apple pies. I was asked to collect my haagen dasz uniform today. But,


Let me tell you my ice cream scooping job story. Eileen, xinyi and I got the job. Happy. Wanted to work after the korea trip and xinyi's NZ trip. Waited. They didn't call. So we called again. We were told to inform them after we were back from bintan. We did. And after a while xinyi got the call, she could start work. Me? The boss probably lost the application says the manager. So I re-applied. Waited probably two weeks or more for it to be approved. On monday it was approved. Today I was on my way to collec the uniform and get the jab. Called up the head office, and the ONLY person who could distribute uniforms and do all the paper work was on MC. Until monday. So what does that imply? I won't be able to work on saturday. I think I'm not fated with Haagen Dasz. My predictions are that I'm either not going to ever start work, or I'll get sacked two days after I start work. We'll see huh.
I'm really damn frustrated with all the waiting. And hoping. And dreaming.. And missing. And disappointment.
I need lotsa lucky stars, something to make me laugh and somebody to always be here for me.

My Day At The Zoo

Was gonna write in a kiddie/primary school compo kinda way. But decided not to 'cause I'm lazy. Heh xian asked if I was going to blog about the zoo and they all said it sounds like an essay a primary school kid would write. They refers to xian, xinyi and kim (: Anyway as I said.. I HAD SO MUCH FUN AT THE ZOOOOOO. I really really did. Maybe more than the rest! It's not always that I can laugh my heart out and thoroughly enjoy myself, as much as I want to, but I did on friday! So it rocked (: And SO.. this entry's gonna be really long with a truckload of pictures :D

It started off with us celebrating xinyi's birthday!!

Xinyi made a really long wish, just like xian. I shall make a really long one on my birthday too :D

Then off we went! This false gharial or something really looked very fake! We stood there looking at it for very long and it didn't even bat an eyelid! Not sure if it has eyelids though :P

I had a whooooopingg time at the zoo yesterday with xian, xinyi and kim :) But I shall blog about the zoo trip after I've got all the photos from xian and kim. My cam died halfway :(

On a more whiney note, SIGHS. Why do the wrong things always happen at the same time? What's with unwanted coincidences? I guess what I did today was kinda right, for a change.
