I passed my basic theory evaluation today! Haha yes I'm really slow, still at evaluation only. Shall hurry up and take the test after I come back and hopefully I'll be able to learn driving soon! As in the practical part. But it'd be scary hee.

After that we went to xinyi's house then to town, not for work this time but shopping! I havent shopped in ages gosh. We didn't shop for as long as i hoped for but i did see this pair of capri pants i really like! Very ex tho :( Shall decide whether to buy it tmr.

Had dinner with a mini bunch of 6H dearies! (: First gathering in quite a long while. Think it was organised 'cause most of the guys got out from tekong le but in the end the only guys who went were yisheng and andy, and andy hasn't even been to tekong yet. Heh I guess it's partly my fault too 'cause i won't be free tmr evening so the gathering was set today instead. Anyhow it was GOOD seeing the 6Hers had such a fun time talking crap with them and stuff. Miss them! Even xian whom I haven't talked in ages 'cause she's always playing maple [haha].

Headed over to haagen dazs to ask for free ice cream after dinner but got quite saddening news :( Kengkiat aka the manager who hired xinyi and i and taught us most of the stuff and is usually very nice to us and gives us free ice cream and treats us to food is going to be transferred to another branch! It's his last week at taka and I WON"T BE WORKING. Ugh :( We haven't even had a staff outing yet. Sighs. He said xinyi and I can join him at the other branch if we want, but don't know if he's serious. Xinyi and I shall consider, right xinyi? But sigh we were saying we wanna work in taka forever heh. AND AND AND one of our colleagues is gonna get transferred to hilton too! Ughs. So sadd :( When I come back everyone will be gone and there'll be new people who won't like me or sth :( Sighh sighhhhh. I'm not someone very keen with changes.

Suddenly, I don't really mind going on the holiday anymore. Just hope I won't freeze to death over there.

ANYWAYS. I think xinyi and I have this stronger power of attraction for 'higher-irritating-authorities' 'cause they always come when only the two of us are working! And we'll be the ones to receive first hand crap by them so we get soooo pissed off and gain so many more wrinkles! :'( Some guy (higher-irritating-authority) barged into our shop and practically cleared everything within his vision into whatever space he could find in the cupboards, ignoring the fact that we won't be able to work conducively the way he made it. And not even telling us where HE hid OUR stuff to, he doesn't even work at taka! These people complain and complain and blame it all on us but they don't know how difficult it is to.. for example - work with NOTHING on our tables. Bah! Why why why is it always xinyi and i and us ONLY who encounter such stupid people :'( So in conclusion, xinyi and i are really SUAY and on an irrelevant note, we're really GREEDY [for ice cream] people too.

I've been complaining about work so much I should talk more about the happy things abt working still. Recently we launched a new flavour of ice cream AKA the MELON ICE CREAM [come try come try!] so we've been giving out free samples and it's quite fun! And then we earn points when customers who've tried our samples come and buy ice cream from us. Haha. So we have this mini competition between ourselves :D So to show some support for me you can come buy MELON ICE CREAM from me. Hee. Just joking (: You can buy the melon ice cream from anyone else. But really this melon ice cream is very nice! Melon as in rock melon by the way, so people who like rock melon, come try the ice cream! (:

Anyone kind enough to offer me some help on what course to take in uni? Business or psychology? Please vote! Business seems more likely to bring big bucks while psycohlogy is more fun but will only bring big bucks if i study til masters? Okay not big bucks as in big bucks, but more job opportunities. I want to study as much as possible if i'm taking pyschology but the problem is i'm not sure if i'll have the determination and energy to in future. 'Cause I'm not the type of person who can truthfully declare my love for studying. So how?

Yesterday was officially the first day I dreaded work. And today's the second. Don't get me wrong though, work is STILL fun especially with the irritating person gone [hoorays]! But been a little sick the past two days so didn't really feel like working. Not very sick as in must-lie-in-bed-whole-day sick but jus felt and feeling a bit woozy from the combi of flu+fever. Wasn't as enthu in serving the customers and I think I was a bit laggy. Whoops. Even had difficulty remembering three ice cream flavours at a go. :( On top of that I kind of feel I've been spending too much time on work, forgoing dinners with my family, shopping trips with friends and basically been neglecting everything else! Xinyi and I still haven't gone for our basic theory evaluation, and I still haven't researched enough on the uni stuff! It doesn't help that I'll miss all the open houses of the universities 'cause I'll be away from the 10th to 20th. Bleah, i kind of don't wanna go on the holiday anymore.

Backtracking a little, I got my first pay slip on tuesday! Exciting (: Treated my parents and sister to lunch today but it was quite a lousy lunch 'cause I didn't have an appetite and the food wasn't good. But not very cheap k!
