Day 2 of bintan!


Before I slack off and never ever finish blogging on my bintan trip (just like my japan trip. i miss japan!)




We played water spoports that morning! Minghui and I went jetskiing, just the both of us! There was macha/mawa/ma--- kind of looking after us though! Despite it being my second time jet skiing it was still super fun and scary! I thought we wouldn't end up in the water like how I did in batam 'cause we probably won't be so adventourous to try sharp turns. But before we knew it both of us flew into the water! I think my sister accidentally made a sharp turn =X I was quite freaked out for a moment when I emerged from the water and couldn't find my sister. [She was behind me] The ma-something came over to help us! Somehow we ended up quite a distance awy from our jetski and he kind of fetched us over to our jetski so we didn't have to swim. Nice guy! Hahaha. [Jx, fa, xy - he's the cute one! =P]


Me still loves jetski! My sis too ;)



After that we went snorkelling! So lots and lots of fishies! But they're mostly the same type though. Saw a few dories and clown fishes around + schools of little swordfish. :) The view wasn't fantabulous 'cause of the dead corals but it was still super cool swimming so close to the fishes! We had bread so whenever we threw some into the water all the fishes will dash for the bread! And all of them will be swimming superrr close to you. I was pretty freaked out at first but I got used to it! They're actually more shy than I was, always manage to swim away before i want to touch them. Except for this fish who bit me when I was being courageous feeding them with the bread in my hands. :(

After lunch we went to tanjong pinang! Boring. :( I realised it was the exact same place the 6hers went a few years back!

The 'kelong' that we went to was the one that 6hers went to too! I guess tg pinang is a small place! We were kind of disappointed that it wasn't really the traditional kind of kelong floating in the sea though.

Overdue bintan post!




















Wanted to wait til I get hold of the photos from my brother's waterproof camera before I blog about bintan, but being the forgetful person I am and the busy one that my brother is, I don't think I'll get them anytime soon!





















It's been a long long time since our whole family went on a trip together! The last time was probably when my brother was in sec 2? He's 25 now! It's really been a while. So i was pretty excited about this trip!

The resort we stayed at was really nice! Pretty decor, relaxing ambience and all. Food was kind of limited though, 'cause there was only one main indoor restaurant, and the dishes were pretty pricey! Pizza was good though =D
