April!
I've been 25 for more than a month now! Time flies. I really feel old.
A couple of days before my birthday, I did a gig at RWS! I've missed performing! It was a really last minute one, we only got 3 days notice! It went well enough I guess (:
New hairstyle, side pony tail haha. But I forgot during the performance and tried to ruffle my hair while spiriting and missed the pony tail -_- Fail.
We had lunch at the malaysian street afterward! Wasn't fantastic though, kinda disappointed. I had penang char kway teow, it wasn't bad, but not very nice. I felt that the ntu canteen 2 one tasted better!
That day was a hectic day. I had lesson in the morning, then the gig, then lesson in the evening, then training at night! What a hardworking girl. Just for that day.
Astros celebrated my birthday during training! Most of the credit goes to kaycee of course who bought me the cake! And chose a nice design! The awfully choc girl did a good job decorating the cake, I loved it! My favourite colour combi (:

Kaycee brought me to Salt Grill at the 55th level of ion for my birthday dinner!
My photos definitely do not do any bit of justice to the restaurant, but when I stepped into the restaurant the view outside the windows was really breathtaking. There was a beautiful beautiful sunset. But unfortunately, we were lead to another corner of the restaurant there was far away from the windows 'cause the seats near the windows were all reserved.
Hope you can get an idea of how beautiful the sunset was from this picture. But it was definitely a million times nicer than this. The window's so dirty :\
It's too long ago for me to remember the names of the dishes, but i remember the food was good. Once again, my photos do not reflect well on the food. Neither will my lack of proper description. But ya, we were pretty satisfied.

Celebration at work - 5 minutes before our class started during lunch break. Just yi si yi si sing song, cut cake, take photo. We didn't even have time to eat the cake til afterward. Hurhur. But I still appreciate it la. (:
My birthday dinner with the family was at East Ocean Teowchew Restaurant! Before our food came, we were served a round of bitter tea.
Yummy bamboo clams! Not too overcooked, just right :)

This butter lobster was SUPER YUMMY! (I'm totally bad at food blogging i know. Lack of description and lousy photos) But yes, I remember the lobster being heavenly. Haha. The noodles on the other hand didn't go well with the butter sauce though. Mama's black pepper flavoured noodles were better.
Custard buns! I've never been a fan of custard buns, but I loved their custard buns! The size of the buns were just right, not too huge. And the filling was a yummy combination of sweet and salty! I think the most I can have is two though. I went back another time and ate three 'cause my mum and dad refused to help me. And got quite gelat :/ But I think I'll still order it when I go back next time :)
