YOG Gym Finals!

I'm so glad i watched at least one day of artistic gymnastics at YOG! It's such a rare opportunity to catch international level gymnastics live! And i managed to watch my two favourite events, women's floor and beam! Loveeees.

Here's Tan Sixin the beam champion! Btw, only when i'm watching the gymmnasts live and up close i realise how defined their muscles are! It's kinda scary.

Victoria Komova from Russia, bronze medalist. Love her grace, and of course everything else too. Haha.

Diana Bulimar from Romania! Silver medalist, everyone loved her routine. Powerful tumbling!

Tan Sixin from China. Gold medalist! Her routine was almost perfect and so effortless the tumblings didn't seem difficult at all!

We watched the finals next to yin jiao lian and chen lao shi! Yin jiao lian was my coach from p3 to p6, one of the coaches i respect the most. His passion for gymnastics definitely beats anyone else i know! And he was such a great coach really. Oh and he was uber zai, world champion before! He's now.. 70 or so? And has finally retired and returned to beijing to enjoy life! Will miss him :)

He's been in Singapore for i think.. at least 23 years and has so many students in Singapore! Really 陶梨满天下! (crap i think i got the first 2 words wrong but i can't figure out which are the correct ones) He had students coming up to him and taking photos and all. Pretty sweet sight.

Ming watched gym too!

Wonder when's the next time i can watch international gymnastics again!
