Today can be considered the most fun day since school reopened. The morning started with the junior class 05S14 meeting us in class. We played some bingo game which wasn't exactly fun but it was supposed to make us interact. After that it was some speed dating thingy and i only got to talk to two of them. We were split into three groups for the cultural mapping in bukit timah. Sure I absolutely ADORE bukit timah 'cause I've lived here my whole life but touring bukit timah for orientation isn't exactly the most exciting thing to do. My group was supposed to go turft city. Like there was anything much to do for recreation there. But well it was still pretty fun! We had teppanyaki for lunch and saw keouy! I told my classmates he looked like jay and omg everyone started staring at him, laughing and taking pictures of him when he was just in front of us! How embarassing! Haha. But pretty fun I guess. Wenting got a pretty good shot of him =P Heh we were so lucky and he cooked for us! We occupied two huge tables so there were two chefs and he ours! Haha. Mama and papa blamed me for not askin him for a discount when I told them about going there. 'Cause they go there pretty often and papa's company is somewhere there I think. O wells. Then then we walked around a bit oh and I got this really pretty star keychain and butterfly paper clip :):) We walked out to the carpark and we just sat there playing concentration. It was really hilarious 'cause the teacher who was following us didn't know how to play at first and kept screwing up. He managed to do fine later on :) Then we played the 7up thingy. We went back to school and the few of us, jingting, geri, pearlyn, wenting, sweeling and eileen took many pics! hee it was fun :)

There was CCA carnival for the J1s after school yesterday so we got let off early. Had some talk by the principal before that. 'Cause all the j2s and ip classes had to squeeze into LT 5 it was over crowded and i had to sit in the gap between to chairs. So extra. Haha.
We changed into our jerseys and set up the booth.. soon lots of people started visiting. Many many people signed up. The j1 girls this year all seem very sweet and pretty! haha. We played lots of touch throughout the carnival. Played against some ex-J2 guys and it was pretty scary. We played for quite a while and my calves felt like they were cramping up anytime. Pretty freaky~ Luckily they didn't in the field was very muddy and i was so covered in mud after that.
Kim and I went for dinner at coro together and we met cenjun, peixi and peirong there :) Peixi's taller than me already! :( haha. We went doughby ghaut after that to meet sean and took train to the airport together. It was quite fun and funny talking to both of them on the train. Laughed til my stomach hurt.. good training for my already non-existent trace of abs :P
Met other gymmers there, jon, tim, jing, wen, xinyi, chrissie, lyn and of course dan. Nice meeting them! Dan was busy going around taking pictures with friends and talking. Heh it was nice being a little crazy with my beloveed juniors + teammate [kim]. We did a mini cheer. Hee. Hai but soon danielle had to go off. :( It's always sad saying bye. But I wasn't too upset or anything 'cause she'll be back in half a year! But come to think of it.. she's probbie gonna stay in brisbane for a really really long time.. sighs. O well Dan take care k! Miss ya!

So much for deciding to sleep before 11 every night to get the 8 hours of beauty sleep. Ha. It's already 11.30! I was doing the numerical methods tutorial. How hardworking. Bleaughs. I didn't even manage to complete the questions i'm supposed to because I'm too stupid and took so long figuring out questions and now i'm really tired. Lazy to think and somehow my shoulders are aching.
Due to the attempt to sleep at 11 last night [which i eventually failed], i didn't blog last night. The starting of school, especially at a school I'm not very fond of was not very good. I feel like crap at the thought of spending the whole year mugging in NJ. Plus the new j1s are having their orientation. It seemed like just last month I had orientation in SA. It was so fun. Ughs. If I had a chance to go back to last year.. will i choose to stay in SA? Hm. Better not get there I seem to have quite a lot to write. The worst thing that happened after school reopened is that Mr Yong our physics tutor last year is not tutoring us anymore! 'Due to additional responsibilities the school gave him'. Damn the school. oops. I still remember the first time we had lesson with him. All of us couldn't stand him. He kept repeating his questions and never, ever smiled. He was pretty scary too. But soon as time went by, we got used to him. And sometime after near teachers' day, he seemed to start opening up. He joked with us, he smiled and laughed with us and it's so hilarious when he wants to smile but tries not too. Well that's not very important. The thing is he really motivates and encourages us in class a lot. And he doesn't favour those who are better in physics. He teaches a lot more than just physics alone. Our class has grown to like him and respect him very much, but now he's leaving us. He sent jess an sms, or rather, 9 smses saying that his sorry that he can't take our class anymore, he loves our class more than his other classes and we can always go to him for help in whatever matters. It was so touching.. Sighs. We're probably going to write a letter to the school admin to ask if we can have him back but doubt it'll work. Sighs. Mr Yong rocks! Thanks for being a great teacher, although you'll never see this. =P
Though I've talked so much about how Mr Yong rocks. I didn't do the physics holiday homework. I attempted a bit. Seriously a bit. Only, while practically the whole class did. I should be ashamed of myself. Sighs. It's different now in NJ and i really got to work lots harder to catch up with others. Haa. I hope I mean it.
I visited my old neighbourhood yesterday. [Oh i did blog yesterday, that short entry] That explains the sand, slide, see-saw and monkey bars. My old and favourite neighbourhood. Hua Guan crescent. It's such a cozy little neighbourhood with the playground sort of in the middle of it. The playground has been renovated to some boring small little slides and some other lousy thingiees, supposedly for the safety of children. Sacrificing their fun. Hmms. There was this huge and white slide which you had to climb up many metal steps. I remember putting powder down the slide to make it even more slippery. How fun =D There were the monkey bars, which I always thought I was good at =P And the see-saw! Although the playground didn't have a swing, it was a perfect playground and still is in my heart. Hee. We visited an old neighbour. She was talking about how much taller minghui and i [not exactly] have grown. Heh. So nostalgic. I remember going to her house once with a sore throat, and she insisted on me having a packet of chrysantamum tea and my throat really hurt when i drank it. Heh. The coolest thing that happened yesterday was seeing my name still on the tree outside my old house! Although I don't really remember carving in vertically upwards. I think I carved it when my ex-maid susie, but can't really make out her name. Sigh too bad I can't upload the photo of the carving from my phone. I think I better end here or I'll never get to bad. I still have to write a letter to Dan.. Dan i'm so gonna miss you!! =(

after working for who knows how many hours on the blog, i've decided to leave it as it is and write an entry on the first of jan 2005 for now.

I spent the last few minutes of 2004 and first few minutes of 2005 with my primary six classmates aka the 6Hers :) We were at zhanpei's house counting down. Not as lively as last year due to many reasons.. but it was as nice as always being with them :) After that I stayed over at xian's house with xinyi, my two best friends! We played mahjong, I lost, ate instant noodles and chatted. Fell asleep at around 6.30 after they fell asleep already.. thinking.. The three of us shopped around in town for a while and visited the so-pretty-pretty fitting rooms in CK tangs ;) Nice!

Returned home and found out that almost all my father-side cousins were over at my house. Good to see them although we aren't close. Haven't seen a couple of them in quite some time.

So.. yea.. I spent my new year's day with my beloved people :]

New year resolutions should come with a new year.

My 2005 new year resolutions >=]

  1. Study hard.
  2. Train hard.
  3. Cry less.
  4. Spend lots and lots of time with Patchy.
  5. Be less mean to minghui.
  6. Make more good friends in NJ.
  7. Come online less. Much less.
  8. Finish my cross stitch.
  9. Save more money.
  10. Bake cooookiess and cakeees and browniesss
  11. Think less of unnecessary stuff.
  12. Stop being petty.
  13. Do splits and bridges once in a while to retain what little flexibility I have.
  14. Be a nicer girl.
  15. Read more
  16. Make a difference to other people's lives.
  17. Do not.. disappoint myself.

I think i'll stop at 17. Because that's my favourite number, and the 17th resolution is something I've kind of learnt from last year.

The 17th year of my life's going to be over in a few months. I always thought it will be one of the greatest years.. but it isn't.. wasn't. It was such a disappointment. But get over it. Hopefully this year will be a better one.

Resolutions are meant to be achieved.

Happy new year everyone. :) Especially my family, the gymmers and the 6Hers :)
