Alligator Pear and Papa's B'day

I have no idea why anyone would name their restaurant alligator pear. But yea someone did. Mama received some vouchers for complimentary meals at alligator pear at fairmont hotel and so one afternoon we decided to go get our free food! We had totally no idea what kinda food this restaurant served, until we arrived.

Located next to the pool, Alligator Pear serves healthy and tasty meals, fresh fruits, juices and international favourites in a relaxed, tropical setting. Members and guests of the Willow Stream Spa can look forward to nutritious yet delicious spa cuisine to complement their spa treatments.

Location: Level 8, Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford

The food was definitely more healthy than tasty, more nutritious than delicious! But not too bad la, at least the appetizer was really good. Every bit of it from the cherry tomato to the salmon!

The main courses were just.. bland.. though.

The fish was, so white.




Ohhh just remembered Hall 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner was that night too! It was pretty cool seeing all the uber old alumni back together and veryy high, but other than that i kinda forgot it was a DnD! I just kept eating and eating, chatting with the girls around me. I didn't even take a single photo with anyone in costume(or actually anyone that wasn't on my table)! On hindsight I should have, since it's highly likely that's the last KR DnD i'll ever attend.

3/5 of the Toh Family's birthdays fall in september! First up was papa! Ming and i gave him very useful presents! Probably the most practical presents ever. 'Cause i don't remember giving him anything he actually used. Wrapped up was an iphone cover i bought online! The quality wasn't that good and all but i'm surprised he used it! Til now! :D Yayyy. And ming got him a card holder which he's using too! Double yay :) Glad papa liked them!

Btw if there's anyone who loves abalone as much as ming and i do, please go try the abalone rice at thai village! I love it!

I wonder how dreams come about.

I had a really long chapalang dream last night and if i'm not wrong there were quite a few ppl in it. C block girls, yichao whom i've met quite recently. And then there was charmaine from aces whom i've never really talked to, just a bit, and calv whom i haven't talked to/seen in quite a while too!

.

Then this afternoon the first notification i got from facebook when i logged on was a comment to me on my video from charmaine! I was really pretty shocked! And then later at night, calv commented on the same post as me, and it's his birthday now!

.

I guess it's all just coincidence, but i wonder if there's any.. link. Haha. Oh wells.

A few weeks back xinyi, xian, fa and shimin came over to my house!

While lazing around deciding whether or not to swim, we started taking a bunch of random photos!

Before i get (wrongly) accused again for uploading/tagging only the photos that i look nice in, i shall say yes this time i really chose those i look not-too-bad in to post on my blog! My blog mah. Hehe.

A couple of us wanted to get into the pool, a couple didn't, but in the end all of us did! :D

But being the very nice girls we are, we didn't wanna exclude xinyi from the fun! So we asked (force) to join us by sitting on the float! Assuring her it won't overturn and she won't fall into the water hehe.

It was pretty hilarious the way we made her sit on the float and xinyi was so amused she was almost crying!
