My first driving lesson today after I failed my test [yes, i failed] was disastrous. Or at least at the beginning. I made wrong turns, hit curbs, mounted curbs, practically committed all the mistakes possible. Rahs. Scary. After complaining to my instructor about my first test, he concluded that the tester probably thought I was too lousy in the circuit already and purposely failed me by sabo-ing me on the roads. Puis. Or he just bu shuang me somehow. :( But yes I admit that I was really really lousy the first time round. Not very confident for the second test but gotta try my best! Shall list down the stuff I gotta remember from today's lesson.
Don't laugh at me if these are very obvious things I should always have known.
1. Blinking arrow = amber light. Stop if possible 2. Accelerate more when changing lanes. 3. After passing obstructions, keep left again as soon as possible. 4. New method of vertical parking - full lock left when first pole disappears. Oh crap. I forgot. AHHHHH. Hmms I THINK if pole remains at a certain length [pretty short] then continue reversing. If it becomes longer as I reverse, turn half a round right. 5. Parallel parking second turning point, straighten wheel once B pole appears or just a little bit before it appears. 6. Ramp - stop for a moment when all four wheels are on the ramp. Reverse slowly 7. Position car more forward, nearer to the turn, when waiting to right turn.
Okays. That's all for today. I just realised the practical training handbook's pretty useful. Bleahs.
