V-Day and 15th Months!
V-day this year started off well, but ended terribly!
Since it was valentine's day, i decided to wear my hearts-printed skirt and pink heels to get into the mood!

Received a pretty bouquet of flowers which had ribbons that matched my skirt!

Purple roses :)

 We had our late lunch at La Salsa, dempsey. The restaurant had nice ambience, and there weren't many other customers (if any at all) so I loved it!






The card I made for kaycee, i think it's cute! Hahaaa.
The food there was pretty good, BUT BUT BUT, I think i got food poisoning from there. So looking at these photos now I actually feel a little queasy.

So at night, we were supposed to cook for each other. But I started feeling nauseous and puking so poor kaycee had to cook his dish AND my dish himself!
 His dish. Heart shaped prawns.

'Mine', vongole! I couldn't even stay one minute near the food before feeling nauseous so I have no idea how the food tasted. I think kaycee, ming and papa said the pasta was not bad! The sauce for the prawns was some mango sauce which turned out too sour.
Gotta love flowers and cards :)

 Next up, 15 months celebration! Love the cute card i bought for kaycee! So apt!
 We had dinner at Buckaroo which is situated at some ulu corner in sembawang. It serves western food and lotsa beer.


 We ordered onion rings, pizza and clam chowder. Didn't think very highly of the onion rings and pizza, but the clam chowder was fantastic! I really loved it, the taste and texture of the soup together with the bread. Ahh, feel like going back just for the clam chower now!


 After dinner, we visited nearby sembawang park. It's just like a mini east coast park. Due to my ignorance and stupidity, i was quite surprised to see a beach there. I kinda thought the only beaches in Singapore are at east coast park, pasir ris and sentosa. Haha.

 After that we headed to Woolands Waterfront! It's a newly developed place, a really huge and nice park just next to the sea! We saw many buildings just across the sea, and being my stupid self again I asked KC how come the CBD area was so close to woodlands, before being told that was JB. And we could actually hear music from JB!
We chilled at the jetty, enjoying the sea breeze and looking at the one or two crabs in the water haha.
Think woodlands waterfront is really quite a nice place to visit just to chill, or to exercise! :) There's a huge playground there, similar to west coast park's too.
