One day while mama was away, ming and i went on a secret shopping trip to get her birthday present! Bought somethings ourselves too! 9 bucks shades from f21! :D
And then it was mama's birthday! Those are presents from her precious kids :D
Think we look pretty alike in this photo!
We had dinner at this indian restaurant at greenwood, memory's bad so i can't rmb the name, but it was a pretty nice place with awesome food!
Mama opening her presents!
FOOOD! All the dishes were uber nice seriously. I've had some indian food before, but it's my first time at a restaurant having a totally indian meal!
This is some prawn thing with yummy gravy!
We were all really full so we decided to cut cake at home! Awfully chocolate cake again!
I didn't expect many seniors/alumni to be there and was pretty sad about it, but i was pleasantly surprised and very touched to see jianping there! Although none of the seniors from his batch came, he still came! Really very happy to see him. Every year, he never fails to come back on steppers birthday to share his experience as one of the founders of steppers with the freshies.
To be frank, as the years go by, the history of steppers' early days and the steppers spirit is gradually lost. I know it can't be helped, but i really hope somehow, some of it will be retained. And that's why i'm really very grateful towards jianping for coming back, talking to the juniors and simply showing them he still cares. I'm sure his love for steppers will touch the juniors' heart, at least a teeny weeny bit :)
I've heard jianping's stories many times, about what happened before i even came, and the time when we cheered hard together for cheerobics. But they never bore me :)
My very respected senior :))
Anw, the steppers comm did a great job with the party! Love the souvenirs kat made for everyone! Another steppers card to put on putih! Forgot to take a close up, but it says "I Fly for KR Steppers"! Love it!
Of course, uber happy to see my beloved flyers :D
It's beng's t shirt! HAHA how cool right! And he fixed the lego so nicely to form "steppers".
Love steppers :)
