Ended up being too lazy to go down to bishan yesterday but I went today! The nanyang girls all did pretty well of course with C div clinching the gold and B div the silver. Was a little disappointed by b div's performance though, after hearing about how pro they're supposed to be.. my expectations were quite high. But they're still good of course (: It's sad that the number of familiar faces are getting fewer and fewer though. And I was like the oldest senior from ny at the gym today. I'm sooo olllldd. :(
I kind of miss competing. Really. All the excitement+nervousness before competition.. The fuss over our hair.. Warm ups.. with people flipping across the floor from all four corners..I think that's really exciting heh. And dangerous. Ohh and there were one or two years we went to warm up in the gym before the lights were even switched on and couldn't even see the beam properly heh. Everyone cheers everyone on.. everyone hugs everyone. And coaches being all nice and encouraging before our turns. Then when bell rings, we pose to the judges, show our number tags, off we go! Of course without the occasional flops and disappointments, competitions would be even more perfect.
Now I wish I had more time to train.. to learn new and more difficult moves. It feels so good to be able to stand for new moves. The sense of achievement. I miss having the flexibility, the strength and the ability to flip, fly, twist.. jump and spin and dance. Whatever. I miss being a gymnast. Feel so.. useless now. :(
Sorry I'm know I'm just blabbering.. but it's just one of those I-miss-gym days again. :(

I want to go down and watch/support the C compulsory peihwa girls tomorrow! But there's no one to go with me :( So I think I might end up going alone. :( :(

Oh yes before clubbing the under 21s [Diwei, Waycheng, Natalie, Xinyi and I] of taka haagen dazs minus leeann met up for a little gathering to buy leeann's belated present. We got her this really cute mickey mouse watch! Which she liked. I hope. And we took neoprints!
