With the danish (i think) cheer dancer who has stayed in singapore before! Although I did feel a bit better doing the stunts on the second day, our warmups didn't exactly go veryvery smoothly and it was pretty worrying. I was also in a semi blur state, thinking we were going for a rehearsal rather than the real competition! I was frantically trying to get myself out from the blur/sleepy/stone state. .
I'd say pressure was higher the second day 'cause we really wanted to perform a better routine than the previous day. It got a little worse watching the teams before us up their difficulties and perform great routines, and hence getting high scores. But I'd say I still felt less scared and nervous, more confident that day. Bearing in mind may's words that morning, i was very determined to perform a good routine with a huge smile!
.
And we did! Don't know where I got the sudden burst of energy but I was very high and happy throughout the routine and smiled/laughed all the way. Everyone did great and we hit all stunts up! SOOOOO HAPPYYY! The feeeling was really.. out of the world! Hahaa. To have enjoyed the performance, smiled at may all the way (hahaa i was really just looking at him most of the time) and most importantly achieve our aim of ASU. Omg. Happiness :)) I remember telling xuewei that the one routine that I had performed before which I was most satisfied with was our all girls routine this year, but I think our routine that day beat the all girls routine. :D Which means I was just really really happy and satisfied 'cause our all girls routine was already very very fantastic!
.
While waiting for our scores we got interviewed. And I can proudly tell the steppers that I didn't just say 'It's very fun!!!' this time. :P The lady asked when was our most memorable moment during our stay in Bremen, it was definitely while performing the routine. Loved it.
.
I just re-watched the you tube video and realised there were many people cheering for us. It's so nice for them to cheer for teams other then those from their own country :] I think their cheers made the whole experience even better :D
..
Our final score for the second day of competition totally exceeded our expectations! We got 108 (i think), a very pleasant surprise!! :D It was then we started thinking if we had a chance for a third position, and we did! I never expected to get a top three position right from the start and ASU was all I wanted, but winning the third place was no doubt a very very huge bonus! :D I guess luck played a pretty big role in our win too though. The koreans were great but slightly unluckier on the second day, failing their last stunt and losing to us by a mere 0.5. :( Felt really bad about it and things were a bit awkward for a while, but they were really nice about it and congratulated us. :)
.
After that it was time to sit back and enjoy the show put up by the other teams!
Spectators!
