Bangkok!!



I can never get bored of bangkok. This trip feels like it happened years ago and i'm badly in need of another trip to bangkok! For the shopping, food, massage, people.. everything!



Went with my family this time round, and ming was my official shopping buddy!



Shopping started at the airport!











We got a cab at the official taxi stand (not the unofficial one that DC went to), and the cabs were supposed to go by meter, but this cabbie refused to! The funniest thing is that he covered the meter using a cap haha. He kept trying to explain in vain that the fare he wanted to charge would turn out to be almost the same as the meter or something, but my father just ignored him. Haha he was quite poorthing, but in the end we still paid him the fare he asked for la 'cause my father found it to be rather reasonable.


We stayed at Pathumwan Princess Hotel this time round which is linked to MBK, and it was awesome! Slightly more expensive but it was so nice and comfortable! Most of the photos of the hotel room are not uploaded though (lazy). It was very spacious, had pretty decor, and a huge awesome bathroom. But if your main destination is platinum shopping mall, the location of this hotel isn't exactly the best. It's not too far away, but you'd have to take a cab.















I was so happy to be reunited with my favourite lokchubs! I've missed them!





It was a Sunday, so I decided to bring ming to Chatuchak to take a look! Although there aren't many things to buy there, the primary objective was to see the cute puppies for sale! I took the picture below so that we wouldn't get lost when we had to meet papa, but we still got lost.

Aiyo, just realised most of my doggie photos are in mama's camera. But anyhow, the doggies were so adorable! We saw tiny tiny puppies that looked a couple of days old only! Hope all of them will eventually find a nice owner.

Next morning! Sleepy faces.





Started off the day with Macdonald's breakkie at MBK! Love bkk's macs because they sell egg mcmuffins! Without any meat! Loveee it (: We walked to Siam Pargon...okay crap I forgot the names of the other malls. But anw, from our hotel we walked to three malls, then to Siam Square! Ming with her favourite food, haagen dazs and Macdonald's.

(Btw, since I mentioned Haagen Dazs - I'm very disappointed at the dropping standard's of Haagen Dazs(Singapore) icecream! Okay actually the icecream's still pretty awesome, but the price has increased so much, the scoops have become smaller (definitely much smaller than what xinyi and i scooped last time, WITHOUT the caps), and the service is horrendous! Especially at vivocity. First they pretty much bochup me 'cause I was ordering takeaways, with a voucher, second, the manager and scoopie told me different things wrt to the voucher, thirdly i was served a WATERY scoop, wait not even scoop, cup of icecream. Which the manager insisted to be normal. I ordered midnight cookies icecream, which has fudge inside. I understand that the icecream would be softer 'cause of the fudge, but please, I've worked at Haagen Dazs before, you don't serve that kind of icecream to your customers! And they changed the tub immediately after they served me the scoop. Still dare to insist it's normal!?? Rubbish! Anyhow, they changed my scoop for me if not I'd have argued til they begged for my forgiveness. Hurhur okay I'm exaggerating. And oh no I've digressed.)

It was my first time visiting siam square, we went because mama has been there before and bought a couple of dresses she liked! So being the filial daughters we decided to accompany her and auntie gl there. Siam square's really huge, and there're a few streets. There were plenty of shops selling formal dresses, a couple selling nice shoes (unfortunately they don't carry my size) and there was one particular street selling casual clothes. If you're looking for formal dresses, I think Siam Square's a good place to go, there're a couple of cute boutiques selling imitation dresses, but they're really pretty! Prices aren't that cheap though.




 Lunch time at Siam Paragon's food court! I love the foodcourts 'cause you can pretty much find all the nice thai food! My father doesn't like street food, but the food courts were good alternatives!

 There was plenty of other yummy food at Siam Paragon too!

 Uber sweet and yummy.







Oh yes, I did manicure at Siam Square! Pretty satisfied with it! My first successful french manicure (: The first uncessful time was also in bangkok with Xinyi! After the manicurists were done, we immediately hopped into another shop to get our manicure changed. :S






These are the prints on the two backpags ming and i bought from MBK! Super cheap! I've been using mine almost daily, and it hasn't died yet, so I'd say it's pretty worth it! (:






3 Days 3 Nights in BKK's really too short, especially when you're with your parents and their friends and can't dedicate all the time you want to shopping! But anyhow, I still enjoyed the trip! Til I see you again, BKK!

I have the exact same float! But it lies in my room most of the time. I got sunburnt and horrible tanlines from tennis last week, time for a tanning and chilling out session! Haven't gone into the pool in.. many months!
