Had our first meal at a roadside stall! Thai food yay :D Look at how much kaycee was enjoying his drumstick.
We went to the mall, and got ourselves some nice handphone covers! Pretty affordable, around.. 6 dollars I think!
First peek at the beach!
We headed back to our hotel after that, and got dinner at a roadside restaurant near where we stayed! There are plenty of roadside restaurants, who chose this one just because it was nearby, and there was free wifi! Pretty simple meal, fried rice, tom yam and fried vege, but yummy! Gotta love thai food!
Went for a foot, or rather leg massage after that! Did the massage at sirinan massage. There were plenty of massage parlours as well, we chose this because it looked cleaner and more modern in a way! It was shiok :D Unlike the foot massage I did in china which was super painful, this was much better 'cause they didn't concentrate much on the soles of our feet!
Next day! Random scruffy dog along the streets. So cutee.

We rented beach chairs to lie and chill on, just 200 baht for the whole day! With huge umbrellas providing shade for us, and the people shifted the umbrellas whenever the sun shift positions, so that we'd still be shaded!
The waves were huge! Or at least the biggest I've ever experienced!
I've always wanted to try parasailing, so after comtemplating for quite a while, I decided to go! And right after I decided, it was a super quick experience. I was hastily strapped up and before I knew it, off I went and back I came down.
Up into the sky! If you can see from this tiny picture, there was a guy just hanging/sitting on the ropes just behind me controlling the parachute! With no safety harness, unlike me who was strapped up very safely.
2-3 minutes later, I was on my way down. And it was like at least 10 times less exciting that I thought it would be. Not scary at all please :( We were above the sea most of the time, the only slightly more exciting part was when we were descending. Quite a disappointment actually. Not exactly worth the 1000 baht! But at least I've tried!
Kaycee's turn!

I got such a nice photo for him. Haha
After that it was back to chilling on the beach chairs! There were plenty of people walking by selling food, souvenirs etc. We got some food to nom on!
Never thought I'd enjoy lying by the beach, doing nothing, so much! Just people watched, enjoyed the sea breeze and relaxed!

Back at the hotel pool! There was happy hour between 3-5pm so we decided to get some drinks (:
Outside our room, we met our neighbours! The family of cats! A mummy and two kittens :D We fed them with bits of our supper or cat food every night haha.
Cutee!
Kaycee looks like he's trying his best to be gentle to the kitten, but the kitten still looks strangled. haha.
Went for thai massage in the evening! Walked around and found another nice looking place. The massage parlours with glass doors and a more modern look usually attract me more!
I prefer indonesian/oil massages to thai massages. Thai massage doesn't have much effect on me. Although some positions did hurt, but not in a good way I felt. Kaycee on the other hand was in lotsa pain throughout, and felt the thai massage was good haha.
Dinner after massage! Delicious lalas, much much cheaper than Singapore!
That's steamed parrot fish, supposedly very rare and expensive, but affordable there! I didn't quite appreciate the fish, but the sauce/soup was superb! I was so in love with it I think I could just eat two bowls of steamed rice with just the soup.
We were very full from dinner, but I couldn't resist my favourite pancake for supper!
There wasn't very much to do in Phuket if you don't go island hopping (we've been to the islands when we went to Krabi), so we headed back to the beach to chill!
The sky was very clear so it was a real sunny day! In an attempt to tan my white tummy, i rolled up my shirt while walking there hehe.
Comfortably settled down on my beach chair!
Read my book..
Sipped on the coconut..
Tanned for less than 10 minutes! 'Cause the sun was so hot! I felt like I was being roasted. I wonder how the ang mohs do it!!

Anyway, there was this uber cute baby sitting nearby whom i was eyeing on for the longest time. Her mum brought her to play in the water once in a while. Then I finally couldn't resist myself and asked for a picture with her! (Or was it kaycee who asked for me) She's so adorable isn't she!!!
Soon, the sun was setting! Kaycee and I were one of the firsts to rent the beach chairs around the area, and the last to leave! Don't know if kaycee enjoyed the nua-ing as much as me, but time seemed to fly past!
So we went back to our usual dinner spot for dinner and free wifi! Our third dinner was definitely our best!
Green curry!!
Thai style, sweet and sour fish!

There was a pretty interesting game at the pub, but i didn't manage to get a photo. There was this um.. thick tree trunk with lotsa nails nailed onto it on the top surface.
Next morning! Last day :( Kaycee refused to go back to the beach, so we went to Jungceylon for lunch, a movie and early dinner! Movie tickets were really cheap!! I can't remember what movie we watched though. But I finally got to experience the standing up during the Thai national anthem (or was it a tribute to the king?)
