Although I knew there was a cake before it was 'served', i was secretly very surprised and touched when i first spotted the cake! Thankyou guys for celebrating for me and thanks chun for buying the cake! Btw, the waiter 'served' the birthday cake in its box and plastic bag again. Oh my, what's wrong with these waiters and waitresses nowadays!
On the eve of my birthday, i decided to go for some self pampering! I'm a metro card member, and in celebration of my b'day, I got some promotions for the month of april! A free facial at Adeva Spa was one of them!
After the facial, kc and i went for some desserts at Shimbashi Soba! They have a tea time promotion on weekdays at..3-5pm i think? Japanese desserts plus a drink for $6. I think it's quite worth it!
Astros had a performance that night which I couldn't make it 'cause of work, but kaycee asked (and strongly encouraged) me to join them for supper after their performance! So i suspected that there was gonna be some sort of celebration for me. I realised this year I'm quite a spoiler of surprises!
I noticed the awfully chocolate cake box in coffee club's display refrigerator (don't they have a normal refrigerator? hmm..) before anyone even realised it was there. I wasn't purposely looking for it, i guess i'm just quite observant! So yep that kinda confirmed my suspicions. And btw, the cake was served in its box and plastic bag AGAIN!! Kaibin couldn't stand it and went to talk to/reprimand the waiter hehe.
I was really v happy and touched when Astros sang the birthday song for me. Glad to have made a new buncha friends the past year (:

But of course, I knew kaycee was the mastermind behind the celebration! So i'm most grateful towards him :D
Btw, kaycee bought an awfully chocolate STACKED cake! Very very yummy, but overpriced I'd say. The normal one would have satisfied me, but kaycee pampered me (us) with the stacked cake! Everyone present that day 赚到, 'cause kaycee didn't know there were normal chocolate cakes heehee. (Damn i just deleted a photo of the cross section of the cake and it's too troublesome to upload it again)
When I got home that night, kaycee presented me with my pressies! All wrapped up! I think all presents should be wrapped up (:
I absolutely adore this packaging! So classy. Love the wrapping paper, love the ribbon. And of course, what's inside.
I mentioned being a spoiler of surprises. Earlier that day, I guessed that kaycee was getting perfume for me 'cause I wanted to get one myself and he was so discouraging! Quite surprised he can still remember me mentioning ONCE very long ago that I liked one of the chanel perfumes that smelled like my johnson's and johnson's shower foam! I swear I didn't pester him to get me this. Hahaaa. And so, I was happy :D It was about time I started using perfume. 
And in the other wrapped up package (in my favourite tatty bear wrapping paper) were two tatty cushions! I told him not to buy me tatty bears anymore, so he got me these cute cushions instead! With a hidden agenda though. Haha! 
And cute card for me! He spent some effort decorating the inside of the car. He's not very artistically inclined, but A for effort (:

While I was busy camwhoring with my presents, korkor popped into my room with another present! Rayban turtle shell wayfarers! Loved it!
And so, I put the wayferers to good use the next day at sentosa! (btw, i guessed that he wanted to bring me to sentosa, though that was after a few deliberate tries)
Kaycee thought I haven't tried the luge before so he planned that, but i didn't mind doing it again since he hasn't tried! We paid for some package that allowed us to go on it thrice at a discounted price.
I enjoyed the sky rides almost as much as the luge ride heh.

We wanted to chill at cafe del mar, but i realised it didn't look very attractive, quite run down alr so we decided against it. Instead we went wavehouse to chill , while watching people surf. 
We went home to change up for dinner at Prive (Restaurant) at Keppel Bay! Thanks to kaycee breaching the dress code at the restaurant, we were asked to sit outdoors - at a very nice quiet corner! The dress code was smart casual, kaycee wasn't allowed to enter 'cause he was in bermudas.
It was just by the bay, near the colourful bridge, and the weather was good that night so it wasn't too warm!
Service there was good and food was awesome! We were served nice warm breads with butter to start off!
And an appetizer FOC! It was some sort of pastry with tomato sauce and sausage on top. I didn't eat the sausage, but it was nice enough!
For starters, we had the hokkaido seared scallops with fettucine in mentaiyaki sauce! Awesome!!
My main, sakura ebi pasta! Pretty good too! But I didn't expect the sakura ebi to be heibi. 
Kaycee's pork ribs! If i didn't remember wrongly, he enjoyed it too!
Dessert!
Knew I'd forget what the dessert's called so i took a picture of the menu. Valrhona Chocolate Mille Feuille!
Celebrations didn't end there! I had my family birthday dinner the next day at Thai Village! I think we were there for my birthday last year too, and some other occasion, but i definitely didn't mind going back again! 'Cause they have my favourite abalone rice! I could finish the whole pot myself!

Ruoling got me a present! This time i was pretty surprised! So sweet of her to get me a present though my bro already gave me one. Got to know her better the past 2+ years, through gatherings, maldives etc. Sigh, such a pity, gonna miss her. 
Anw this is what ruoling got me! A travel pack palette complete with eyeshadow, lipcolour and blush!

At.. Prive again!! This time, the prive cafe!
There was supposed to be a surprise, until xian asked me to bring faithie's present for her to take a look, and when i read xinyi's card to me on the car! Haha. I asked her a couple of times if she was sure I could read the card, she said yes and the surprise was revealed in the card haha.
It turned out that the triplets invited faithie, xiu and emsie too! I got a nice card from fa with a retarded photo of us a few years back awww :))
Xinyi made me a card too, a very pretty one but um, i'm not sure why the photo's not here. But anw i loved it! And we took a polaroid so I could fit it into the pocket in the card! :D

Lovelovee. We headed to town later for shopping! Xian got me falsies so she asked me to put them on when we arrived at orchard central! And since xian was wearing falsies herself, we encouraged xinyi to get a pair too haha.

First time wearing falsies, had to zipai before i removed my make up. Haha.
