I love my family!




In our family, all our birthdays have one thing in common. Not counting the year we were born, our birth dates all have the number 9! Okay it's not a very big thing actually, but i used to think it was when i was young. And anyway, that's 'cause my parents' and sister's birthdays are in September! So September's a month of cakes, celebrations, good food and presents!



On papa's birthday, we had dinner at Seafood Republic at RWS!




The mantous were were awesomest!





I could be satisfied with just fried mantous and chilli crab sauce :D

Next up, ming's birthday! I got her present super super early and had to put in so much effort to prevent her from buying what I got her + not get suspicious! So once midnight struck on her birthday, i gave her her present! And she immediately knew what it was, Rafael' Nadal's new biography!



 She could roughly guess what korkor got her as well, Nadal cap! Our sis is nadal crazy so she couldn't have been happier to receive the gifts! But we don't know what to get for her next year already. .


 Our baby sister is 17. Time flies! I wish she was still the cute little 4 year old 13 years ago. Haha, KIDDING!

Kaycee was around to celebrate ming's birthday too! Got her some polaroid film :) My idea of course :P




Finally, mama's birthday! Papa and mama were returning home from holiday, so ming and i decided to surprise mama with a bouquet of flowers at the airport, at 12 midnight! They knew were picking them up, but mama was genuinely surprised to see the bouquet! I could tell she was very touched :))




This lovely bouquet (one of the nicest I've ever seen) was bought from Simply Flowers at Ion!


Since the bouquet was so pretty, I encouraged mama to bring it out for dinner the next day! We had dinner at The Cathay Restaurant at The Cathay. I loved the cai xin fried rice! Sorry I'm not a very good food blogger, I only remember the dish(es) I liked.





In case you haven't noticed, we had awfully chocolate cakes for all three birthdays!! For papa's we had the normal chocolate cake, for ming's we had the banana, and cherry for mama's! It's not that we're crazy over awfully chocolate, but there's a shop just outside our house heh. Anyway it was my first time eating the cherry one, and it was moist and yummy! Didn't like the banana though, there seemed too little chocolate cream and the banana wasn't sweet enough.


I love family birthday celebrations :) Til the next birthday!

Attempted a layout twist again a couple of weeks ago, after almost 3 years! Haven't got it but at least there was a little improvement from last time. Gonna keep trying!





Everyone was laughing at the end 'cause not sure of what I was doing, I accidentally twisted double. It was quite scary not being in control of what I was doing in the air!
