Artistic Gymnastics!

Definitely my favourite sport ever. 

The olympics is pretty much over for me with the last artistic gymnastics final last night! I'm proud to say I caught all of Women's events and most of the Men's! Haha like a crazy fan girl. But these gymnasts are really amazing. 

Here're some of my favourite gymnasts!

Viktoria Komova - I've actually watched her live before at the youth olympics! So proud of that. She's an amazing gymnast with so much grace, she looks so beautiful on all the apparatuses! Her floor routine during the all around final was so beautiful and perfect I felt like it was the best floor routine I've ever seen. Maybe 'cause I was super afraid she'd fumble out of stress 'cause she was the last gymnast on and she needed a huge score to beat Gabby Douglas. She put up a fantastic routine but the score was high enough :( She was a hot favourite coming into olympics but I think she must also be the most disappointed gymnast this Olympics. Falling short of the Gold for AA, and costly mistakes on uneven bars and beam :( I feel so bad for her but I hope she'll stay strong!

Deng Linlin. She's definitely the cutest gymnast! Super tiny and she has the cutest face. I adored her floor and beam routines! So happy she got Gold on beam!


Read on tumblr something very true! Denglinlin always looks so sad, especially after China lost the Team Finals. So it's so nice seeing her all smiles when she won beam!


Love this sequence of skills on the beam! I used to be able to do the first back flip, and the last swing down/dao cha. HAHA. Separately btw. 


Catalina Ponor! I think she's the classiest gymnast! And most womanly. Haha 'cause she's significantly older than the rest, her 3rd Olympics! Glad she got silver in floor. She put up such a perfect routine. I wonder how these gymnasts do it. 

Marcel Nguyen! Haha I had no idea who he was before this Olympics. But he's an eyecandy! And a great gymnast too! Silver in all around and parallel bars! Seems to have a good personality too. Haha :P


Tanaka (Left) and Kohei Uchimura! Was rooting for Tanaka during the all around but too bad he didn't win :( I've heard my boss rave so much about Kohei Uchimura, finally watched him perform this olympics! He seems like a really nice a humble guy! All around champion!


 

Aliya Mustafina! Fell in love with her when I first saw her! 'Cause she's so pretty! And she made a great come back she tore her ACL one and a half years ago and went through surgery and she came back so strong! She won the most medals among all the female gymnasts this olympics!
