I'm anti-social.

Hate clinking glasses with strangers and having to make conversation with them.

That's why I've only been drinking twice with my colleagues out of the many times they asked me. After the first time, I told myself (and them) I'd not go again 'cause I didn't like it. But anyway, tonight was my last night coaching at Balestier so I decided not to be a spoilsport and joined them for a while since they insisted.

I've been coaching at Balestier for almost two years now. I started coaching my first team of competitive girls there, Isabelle's bunch whom I adored. Especially Isabelle. They're all doing great under youzi now. I learned a lot from CLS and youzi along the way as well. Realised today that I'm really gonna miss that place. The gym at balestier is tiny and gloomy as compared to jurong's, but somehow it's a lot cosier there. It's the people as well, everyone's just more friendly.

Tuesday could have been my last day, and I could have had the day off today. But I decided to come back since Nadene told me on tuesday that she thought Thursday was my last day. I could tell the sweetie's sad that I won't be coaching her anymore, so I decided to spend one last lesson with her. Nadene's a girl who started gym a little later than the rest, who was a bit weaker than my previous bunch. I was sad to leave my previous bunch, and her bunch was less committed, so I had a little bit of love hate relationship with nadene's group at first. But i'm glad Nadene has managed to press on all these months and improved tremendously. She's not a naturally talented gymnast, but she's a hardworker and a very obedient girl. I was so happy for her when she managed to win the Gold award during Singapore Open's. Hope she'll achieve lots more in future!
