Bremen Day 3!! :)

Didn't write much about how training in Germany at the AWD Dome was like in the previous entry so I guess I should now! There were two warm up areas, one where we always started our stretching and warm ups, the other where teams will usually do their full runs and stuff.

It was cold even indoors, and so we had to stretch very well before we started stunting!

My new cheer shoes in bremen! (Thanks weeps and CR for the shoes!)

Took some videos at warm up area 1!

Toss extension with zhaoming.

More stuff with kelvin. (Lazy to type)

Oh and warm up area one's floor was the bouncy gym floor type! Probbie to let cheerleaders warm up their tumbling.

Kelvin the brave one couldn't resist doing a round off back tuck in Germany and so he did!

I, the timid one, was pretty scared at first (what's new) but i was very tempted after i saw kelvin tumble and so i did! I miss tumbling so much! I go to the gym so often now but never once have i tumbled!

And next up was xingwei!

After warming up, we then proceeded to the actual venue to practise. Here're the flags of the participating countries!

The practice there turned out to be disastrous because of problems with the music :( I was the one who burnt the CDs so I felt damn bad, but hey I've never ever burnt CDs before [steppers would know, there's always a kind soul who'd do it for me]. At least I bothered to, so no, i do not think i was at fault at all :P Okay but I still felt shitty at that time anyhow. But as I was feeling shitty, i received a message from xinyi! How nice :D

We sat in there for a while watching taiwan train, and it's always an eye opener watching other countries train. They were different from the Japanese, but still WOW anyhow. Made me miss training in a team.

After practice, the four of us couldn't decide where to eat, and so we settled with cup noodles! We all brought nissin! Oh I realised as much as I love chilli crab cup noodles, it's not very wise to bring all of the same flavour -_-

After lunch it was time to go gai-gai! We didn't take enough photos of the windmill the first day and the weather was better this time round, so we spent quite sometime photowhoring there!

The fishy cheerleader haha.

Jump shots!! :D

Simple stunt photos :) After that, we headed over to the christmas market again! Actually the christmas market was basically the only place in Bremen that we could visit, but i totally didn't mind 'cause i reallyyy love the christmas market! Our main aim for the day was actually to find the famous Bremen Musicians, but we kept getting distracted along the way!

..

There was a mini funfair!

We decided to go for the 'happy sailor' ride!

Tokens to go on the ride!Don't really know how to describe the ride properly, it kinda just spun and spun at a pretty high speed!

Tried to take photos for each other during the ride! It was pretty challenging haha.

We've seen the cathedral from the outside many times, but we had yet to visit it..

So we did! It was pretty nice I guess, as most cathedrals in europe are :)

Out of all the places we stunted at during this trip, this was the scariest! I was so afraid we would get scolded and chased out!

Luckily we escaped before that happened =X

More photos outside! Full view of the cathedral! Love it :)

We never forgot the yummy mushrooms after the first time we tried, so we went back for more! One bowl each!! Still as yummy as ever but i think one whole bowl to myself was a bit too much!

Next we tried this! And I really loved it! It's like hash brown with appel sauce. Sweet+savoury. Uber good. I kinda miss this more than the mushrooms actually 'cause we only had it once. I think i'm the only one haha.

After a pretty long time.. we finally found what we were looking for, the Bremen Musicians!

.

The Bremen Town Musicians are famous characters from a local fairytale. If I'm not wrong.. the story goes like that.. [Oh crap I can't really remember.. I shall google]

.

.

There were quite a few people at the monument when we arrived, so we had to wait for our turn to take pictures! We noticed that many people touched the legs of the donkey and so we followed suit!

Notice that the donkey's legs are already a different colour from the rest of its body! Some people could reach the dog's legs too, but only we could reach the cockerel's legs :P So we probably got more luck that the rest. Haha

A very kind man offered to take a group photo for us, but he didn't take all the animals! It's okay though, still like the photo :)

The warm red wine shop! We shared another two cups :)

Each cup of the drink costs 5 euros, or at least that was what we thought. But you actually get 2 euros back when you return the cups! We didn't know that the first time we drank, and so xingwei just left the cups on the table and left, and we didn't get the money back! It's quite a lot of money! Heh oh wells. We should have just kept the cups as souvenirs.

.

Next, we decided to visit schnoor! The supposed historical street (something like that) of Bremen. We're not sure if we were at the right place in the end though, and there was nothing much there so we left after a while!

Saw yet another protest.

When we were back at the market, we finally decided to get these to try!

These are basically chunks of donuts! Just lots more fluffy than the usual donuts we eat! And look at the amount of icing sugar. Sweeet. :D

We decided to sit down at the Kaffee Hause for a short rest! Jara Petit's cheesecakes are DEFINITELY much better.

Shopped at the supermarket again that night. Had to take a photo of the wide variety of cheese! To fondly remember the cheese i ate during the forfeit. Heh.

Another mini party to end off the night heh. I seem to have drank a lot in Germany hor? I'm quite impressed with myself. ahhha. [But i thought the red wine tasted horrible =X]

Competition day 1 up next!!

Day 2 in Bremen continued! (Updated)

I thought we were very lucky, because right after our practice slot was Japan's slot! So we got to see them train! It's really an eye opener watching them train. The all girls team and the mixed team shared the slot, and we could see how much they helped each other. Like they'll help spot for each other, and their super efficient. When one group steps off the mats, the next group will immediately go onto the mats to train, even if it's just one stunt. They really cheer for each other when each group is practising too. Another thing I saw was the respect for their coaches and how seriously they take their advise. Really respect the japanese for their skill, professionalism and discipline!

All girls team practising!

Mixed team practising!

They are really so good it's kind of unbelievable!
..

Stealing a photo with the japanese in the background :]

Funny photo hehe

This way to our dressing room!

They finally realised the mistake and corrected the typo error!
I (and my legs) look so short in this photo in comparison to xuewei's! But it's just 'cause zhaoming's standing a little further away la :P Self consolation. Heh.
We walk through a train station everytime we travel from our hotel to the dome or vice versa, and so we had lunch in the train station! There're lotsa shops and food there.
.
The rest had bratwurst while I had my i-don't-know-what-it's-called. It's a bit pizza like, made of flour with cheese and spinach, I liked it! :D A very kind lady from the bratwurst shop opposite (the one that they didn't buy from) offered to take a photo for us! You can tell she's taking over the counter heh. Felt pretty guilty 'cause we didn't buy for her yet she was so nice! Hehe. But anyhow, on the last day xuewei and kelvin still bought from the other shop :P

Saw a protest going on! The protesters were walking with their bikes, ringing the bells non stop. Don't know what they were protesting about though.
After we changed out, it was time to go walk around the city again!
A nice artistic shot here with the christmas lights! Heh. It was accidental though 'cause the guy just happened to walk past.

I realised I prefer liberty stunt photos. 'Cause in cupie photos i just look like I'm standing on the ground posing hehe.

Don't u think the name of this shop looks kinda familiar?
Thai BU Cheer!
Hehh. I bought two calendars from this shop! They were on sale :D

The christmas market opened that day!
In the photo below was a station that allowed kids to swing! I was very tempted to go play on it but I shy. Scared they say only kids allowed! And actually I took this photo 'cause of the vey cutie goldie who was playing with it's owner. I wonder when I'll ever get a goldie!

The christmas stalls are all so nice and pretty! :]

At some random fountain.

Pretty toys at a stall.

Earlier on a german who saw us stunting came up to tell us that something was going to happened on the 18! I didn't really get what he was saying at first, but kelvin figured that he meant 6pm! The guy asked us to go to the green bridge at the river, and so we did!
.
Look at the number of people on the bridge and by the river!

Everyone was waiting for this!

Fireworks for the opening of the christmas market! We were so lucky the kind man told us about it and we managed to catch it :) Christmas tree, christmas market, and beautiful buildings as the backdrop :)

Our first bowl of mushrooms! Very yummy! You'll see more in the future posts :P
**Updated!

More photos from zhaoming's cam I didn't upload the last time!
Full view of the cathedral!
The drink we were holding onto is warm redwine+bacardi+sugar+honey! Something like that! Tasted not bad! Especially in the cold weather!

Attempted to take a photo with the smoke we blew out but the smoke couldn't be seen! Haha
Pretty street.

Christmas tree!

Here're the fake Bremen Musicians! The real ones will be in my next post!

The Singaporean Musicians. hurhurr :P Loyd passage! Love this photo with all the pretty glittering stars :D

Photo with the christmas deco! So sad it's a little blur :(
A clearer photo!

We drank beer after we went back to the hotel that night! Just had to mention that to prove that I drank beer when I was in Germany haha. And the beer actually tasted not bad! Lemon flavoured. :))

Day 3 up next!
