LOVES MAMA

Because (in no particular order):

  1. I can share her jeans, and they're all super nice! Hip mama :D
  2. She bought me chilli crab cup noodles and 3-in-1 milo to bring to Germany! [I just took one to eat aiyo]
  3. She got me all the skincare products after i finally decided to heed her advice to tone, moisturise and apply sunblock (actually i heeded CLEO's advice =X)
  4. She got me cute little empty bottles to prepare my toiletries to bring to Germany.
  5. She allowed me to go Germany to cheer! [Love papa even more for this]

Although cheer is the topic-which-shall-not-be-mentioned and they haven't shown verbal support of me cheering, the little things mama does for me shows me how much she cares :))

    Ohh I love minghui tooo.
    She's so faraway now in Beijing but i think we have telepathy or something! In her email, "How is your cheerleading training? did you fall again". Actually never fall la, just knocked my head. Quite close though. And on msn, "wahhh very scary lehhh, you should wear an amulet or something to keep yourself lucky " Haha my sister is so cute right. :D:D

    Hm this post was supposed to be a mama post, but i have mentioned everyone in my family except korkor so i should mention him too. Er.. Proud of him for getting second in his dunno what army course! Although he's sad he didn't get first. I have the smartest most outstanding bro around.

1 Week to Germany!
I just put on my old puffer jacket, and it's totally unflattering.
I look like a marshmallow or worse still, michelin :((
I'm gonna be so FD in germany boo.
Wish I could dress up like these people:






But I'm only going Germany for 7 days so no point spending so much on pretty clothes! What matters most is I don't freeze to death. Just don't laugh at my photos when I post them up!

Work/Kids/etc.


Or rather, work = kids. :))

K2 Girlies at amazing star kindergarten.

My youngest students! They aren't even in nursery yet! The four in red t shirts are only in the pre nursery class, they're around 3, and the blurry one popping out in her own clothes is in the playgroup and only 2! Charmaine, feifei, renee, rou rou and lianyi!

Hahaa i love this photo 'cause rourou's damn cute! She walked up to pose in front of my camera! Charmaine looks kind of scary here though. Heh.


I used to be damn scared of this babies class when I first started teaching there. 'Cause there're very limited things they can do and I don't even know if they understand me. But I guess they've grown up a little and I'm also getting the hang of it, so it's not that bad anymore! And I just love them more and more and I secretly hug them every week. [Secretly just in case the teachers there think I'm paedophillic. Oh ya one damn funny thing that happened, we were doing some exercise and I asked them to count to 20, and after 10 fei fei started counting 12, 15, 17 while the others just blabbered. Hahhaha. They don't know how to count beyond 10! Aiyooo. So cuteeee la. :D:D

Cute kids aside..

Only after I started working at bazgym, and meeting so many kids, did I realise that not everyone's so fortunate. There're so many kids with health problems, family problems, psychological problems.. and my heart really goes out to them. But I'm happy that despite their problems, they have a chance to learn gymnastics. I really hope that gymnastics will help them in some way or another.

Different children respond to different teaching methods. I'm still slowly (but definitely) learning how to be a better teacher, a better coach.

But in some kids, it is very obvious how NOT to treat them.

It is so obvious because incidents have happened before - just last week, and * was there so * should know what NOT to do prevent similar incidents from happening. I have zero idea what made * say the things * did. Was it on purpose? Did * not know? Is * discriminating the kid? Insensitive? Or just plain dumb.

Even the kid's 5 yr old sister is more sensitive than *. I was very touched by the sister, she is very very concerned about her brother, and even protective I feel? Just a 5 yr old girl. Feel rather sad for her though, 'cause I can tell she's easily affected by her brother. I hope her brother's condition won't have a negative impact on her as she grows up..
